Turkish style costumes
Turkish belly dance costumes have always been quite sexy and flashy. In the 70's they were also quite skimpy ;) Today the Turkish dancers tend to simpler, but still showy costumes. This is achieved mainly through the fabrics used. Many of the costumes are made from velvet, which immediately gives a costume a plush, expensive look. Add to that some flashy Swarovski stones and you suddenly look like a million bucks!
